This has made a huge difference with my students. We are compartmentalized and my students have had to carry all there things from one class to another because they also share their desks. With no lockers in out elementary school this has been a hassle and students are constantly dropping and losing assignments. \r\nWhen the student saw the boxes with the material to build the mailboxes they were excited. I had a few boys volunteer their recess time to help me build them. They were really proud of themselves when they saw the finished product. \r\nThe rest of the class were happy to see a place where they could keep their math supplies. The mailboxes have allowed them to keep everything related to math in their math class and only took what they needed to finish at home after school. They no longer had to haul around all their supplies. With these trackers, students move along the lines while the text appears in different colors, keeping them engaged and learning.\r\n\r\nThe next steps are to use the trackers in more than just reading.
