As we approach a new era of at home and classroom hybrid learning, it is essential that we have the technology to teach students through the computer as well as in person. Students need to have access to technology that makes online learning as close to in school learning as possible, so they can be successful and make up for some of the learning losses they incurred because of the Covid 19 pandemic.
The Apple iPad Air Tablet will allow me to engage students online and in the classroom. Due to lack of access to a SMART board in the classroom, the iPad give me the ability to demonstrate difficult math problems, diagram sentences for grammar, label spelling words, and engage students through easy to view lessons.
Due to the lack of essential technology that I can use at home, many subjects are not able to be taught well online. With the iPad tablet, there will be less learning loss when students have to move at times to online line learning. I desire to reach all students and help them visualize lessons and be able to see problems worked through in real time. I feel this will help negate learning loss in the eventuality of online learning.
