My students come to school eager to learn and be provided an exciting and comfortable learning environment. Providing a reading corner with comfortable chairs, a soft rug, and a bookshelf for my students will allow them to read in a quiet space specifically designed for the task. Students will enjoy having a special area dedicated to increasing their vocabulary, fluency, comprehension skills, and imagination. A dedicated space will allow emerging readers to be more comfortable while working on their basic reading skills. Providing an exciting, colorful, and welcoming space will motivate students to read and create good habits for the future.
