Every student in my classroom qualifies for special education services. Often times my students struggle with classroom assignments and miss out on free and creative opportunities. Many of my students also struggle with hand-eye coordination as well as processing speed. The LEGO kits will give my students a chance to be creative and joyful as they work on using their hands together, which can be so difficult for them. By having exceptional resources like LEGO kits these skills will be able to be utilized for years to come in my classroom. These LEGO kits give each individual student an opportunity to look at a picture, pick out the bricks needed, and copy an example. They can process through the task at their own speed and feel the success of a project completed.
