Eastmont Middle School is a National AVID Demonstration School and organization is one of our key values. Students develop skills to manage their time, workload, and materials. The Chair Pockets you provided give each student a place to store their materials at their desk while maintaining a clutter free workspace. This simple fix increases organization and as a result also increases the students capacity to focus on their lessons and relationships. I was able to purchase more Legos for our classroom as well. Legos promote creativity, collaboration, problem solving, and communication. These are all important skills in an AVID classroom but also in life.
