A large number of our students come from middle to lower economic households. In many cases students are not given the opportunity to play sports until high school, because of the enormous cost it puts on the families. If we can spark an interest in Lacrosse and get students familiar with rules, skills and techniques, they will be more apt to joining the high school program when they are old enough. Unlike Eastern United States, in Utah we rarely ever see Lacrosse on TV or get a chance to watch Lacrosse (MLL or College) so having a Lacrosse program in school may be the only chance many students will have to experience this amazing, challenging and fun sport.
