During speech therapy and classroom activities, AAC also helps them practice vocabulary, answer WH-questions, describe pictures, and participate in conversations with teachers and peers.\r\nWhat is most exciting is seeing students become more independent communicators. Instead of relying on adults to interpret gestures or behaviors, they can use AAC to communicate directly and intentionally.\r\n\r\nThe iPad gives my students a consistent voice and helps them participate more fully in learning and social interactions.
