My first grade students are power generators and happy campers. Yes, many live in the low income area, government subsidized housings or shelters in the Bronx. However, their self-motivation to learn to succeed exceeds those of the ones in affluent areas. Our school is a Title One school located in the Bronx. We strive to meet every students at his or her level and support him or her to achieve his or her best potential. We as a school community try to work collaboratively with parents and with each other to better our education system.
