Students will use the listening center during literacy centers. Having a listening center will help them to improve and strengthen their listening skills and grammar, which they will need to be successful on the state's second language assessment exam. My entering and emerging students will greatly benefit from having a listening center in order to support them in language knowledge. Many of the students do not hear English being spoken at home, so their only exposure is usually in the classroom. The listening center will help them to learn English quickly and easily to ensure that they are successful in school.

About my class
