My students have great personalities. They are very oral. They have a lot to say and always want to be heard. My goal is to tap into that desire to share information and encourage students to arrive at a deeper meaning. Additionally, students would not only think more deeply but also support their thinking with text evidence. The school has a team of passionate teachers and administrators. There is a strong desire to elevate students thinking through reading. It's definitely a challenge for us but we are ready to take our students to new reading heights.
