I am requesting a MacBook Air to connect to our Promethean board. The computer we have now is old and very slow. When we try to do activities on the Promethean, many programs will not work on the computer. We are often unable to play games on websites or watch educational videos. A new computer would allow my students to get full use of the Promethean board in our classroom. We need to incorporate the latest up-to-date technology into all our lessons! Students are able to come up to the board and manipulate objects, move answers and interact with other students. It gets them motivated to do even the simplest, most boring task. A new computer would allow students to do all of this, which they are unable to do now. Most of my students do not have access to tablets, laptops, or even out of date computers at home. Help me to provide them with up-to-date technology so we can keep up in today's world. Thank you for taking the time to read my project!
