During learning students should be comfortable and warm giving them a chance to focus on a lesson or just a laid back read aloud. When entering the room the rug is always the focus area and with bright colors, the students will enjoy gathering to listen and share their thoughts daily. The floor is too cold for anyone and with a nice new rug they will be relaxed for their day ahead. Many of these students don't have that comfort in their daily lives. They at the very least should receive it at school, where they will always know they are safe and warm. This will help them understand the importance of their educational career.
