Students love choosing from the new titles, and many of them have become excited about story time in a way we hadn't seen before. One special moment happened during a group reading activity when a student who usually prefers independent play eagerly joined the group so they could help turn the pages and talk about the pictures. The toys and sensory items have also become a key part of our learning centers. Students use the sensory materials to explore textures, practice fine motor skills, and regulate their emotions during transitions throughout the day.\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate. Their eyes lit up as we opened the boxes together, and they couldn't wait to explore everything. They were especially curious about the sensory items—many students spent time touching, squeezing, and examining the different textures while talking with their classmates about what they noticed.\r\nThese resources are helping us build engaging learning stations where students can rotate between reading, imaginative play, and sensory exploration. Our next step is to incorporate the books and toys into themed classroom projects.
