I teach a great group of second graders in an ICT class. They are hard workers who enjoy coming to school and learning daily. They are filled with personality that can light up a room. They love helping one another and have become better learners because of it. My students come from a high poverty neighborhood to a high poverty school. My school lacks many of the resources necessary to support a high quality education. We are often told we cannot get the much needed supplies to support our classroom because of lack of funds. As a teacher I do my best to support my students whenever I can. I have come to understand how they learn and I can tell they appreciate it. They know I genuinely love them and do my best to provide them with the best learning experience I can. They show me their appreciation by trying their best and working hard to grow academically.
