That isn't the case. I have used them with 3rd through 5th grade. The students are so excited to use these kits. They are collaborating, problem solving and creating. Behavior is not a problem during these lessons. As they work through their design set-ups, they identify errors and discuss how to solve those problems, while also planning more elaborate track designs. They even stop their work to watch other students' design runs. The primary grade levels wil get the chance to use them as well.\r\n\r\nThe hydroponics sets are also a incredible site of attention for the students. They can't wait to see what seeds have sprouted and their enthusiasm is infectious. We are in the planning stages of what seeds to plant next.\r\n\r\nIt is because of your generous support and kindness that the students will have the chance to complete scienctific investigations that are fun and hands-on while helping them learn the NGSS standards for their respective grade level. The moment my students walked into the classroom and saw the new math games and resources, their faces lit up with excitement. You could feel the buzz of curiosity and anticipation in the air! One student even exclaimed, \"Are these for US?!\"—they couldn't believe these amazing tools were just for them.\r\n\r\nSince introducing the new materials, our math centers have been transformed into hubs of energy and engagement. Students are eagerly diving into multiplication games, challenging themselves and each other while having so much fun that they don't even realize how much they're learning. I've already seen a noticeable boost in their confidence as they tackle more challenging concepts with ease.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments so far was during a small group session where a student who usually struggles with math proudly mastered a tricky multiplication game. With the keyboard, I was able to move around freely, giving immediate feedback and celebrating those little victories right alongside them. The math folders have also been a game-changer—students are taking ownership of their learning, tracking their progress, and even revisiting concepts on their own during free time.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has made math something my students look forward to every day. The next step? We're planning a \"Math Masters\" challenge where students will team up and use their new skills to solve real-world problems—like planning a classroom party budget! 🎉\r\n\r\nThank you for making this possible. Your support is helping my students see that with practice, perseverance, and a little bit of play, they can excel in math—and beyond.","fullyFundedDate":1731515284915,"projectUrl":"project/math-magic-engaging-centers-to-multiply/8782783/","projectTitle":"Math Magic: Engaging Centers to Multiply Learning Fun!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Tolle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5577723_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1682466508116","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5577723"},{"teacherId":9352055,"projectId":8005726,"letterContent":"I am so happy to report how much your grant means to my students and myself.\r\n\r\n Not a day goes by when we do not use your wonderful gifts.
