RF 2.3 Teaching students to learn through engaging activities are very important. Learning foundational skills are difficult, but can be a fun experience when combined with art, using both sides of the brain. These foundational skills are the backbone for a love of reading. Our day consists of lots of reading and students working on skills through our literacy centers. Literacy centers provide materials and projects that help students to practice their own needed skills independently and successfully. These projects are made to last through lots of reading practice. Students take projects and their created stories home to share their reading with their families.
