Students completed argumentative essays this quarter and they were able to use the color printer to color-code their essays and print them for revision and editing purposes. By color-coding, students can more easily recognize whether their persuasive writing effectively uses ethos, pathos, and logos, whether they stated a claim, supported it with evidence and commentary. The printed essays could be revised and edited by peers to help with revision.\r\n\r\nAdditionally, our honors students were able to use the color printer to advertise their campus-wide service projects. The color flyers helped promote the projects to our student body so they could also contribute to the service projects. These project encourage community engagement and civic awareness in our students as they learn to become meaningful members of the school community while serving others in need.
