Many of my students have not had the opportunity to attend school in person before due to COVID. Students will have visually stimulating material to help them learn and grow. Students need materials that can be disinfected and easily available for them to use. The materials that I chose can be easily sanitized after every use to help prevent the spreading of germs. Due to COVID my students need a variety of materials that they will be able to use during centers that can easily be disinfected. Students need visual and hands on material to help their cognitive learning skills. These materials will help students with letter sounds, letter names, numbers identification, and quantities. A variety of standards will be covered using the material I have chosen. For example: K.RF.2c Blend and segment onsets and rimes of single-syllable spoken words. K.RF.1d Recognize and name all upper- and lowercase letters of the alphabet. K.CC.B.4 Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
