The students were especially excited about the new pencils (always a favorite!), and they couldn't wait to try the place value dominoes game. The chair socks were an unexpected highlight — not only do they help keep our classroom quieter and more focused, but students were fascinated by how something so simple could make such a big difference. The digital clock and timers are already helping us stay on track during transitions and small group rotations. Even the birthday materials have made students feel celebrated and valued on their special days. It taught many curious students about fresh water fish, crabs, frogs, and even snails and aquatic plants. It was an amazing teaching tool. It also demonstrated how to care for our natural world and the animals/plants in it.
