We also used the markers to create a large web of connections between sources. These activities helped students design effective research questions.\r\n\r\nWe also used the highlighters to identify key components of the essay that students will emulate in their own writing. This provides visuals for students to use throughout the day and during each lesson to remind them of important information and strategies on how to solve the problems they are working on.
