The additional TI 84 color calculators will allow students to build their visual understanding of complex functional analysis. The problem solving books will be used to help students understand the math in a more project based way and the whiteboard markers will allow us to continue visualizing math for the rest of the year. Here are some of the relevant standards - Identify common underlying structures in problems involving different contextual situations. - Identify mathematical information from graphical, numerical, analytical, and/or verbal representations. - Identify how mathematical characteristics or properties of functions are related in different representations. - Describe the relationships among different representations of functions and their derivatives.
