Your generosity has made an immediate and practical impact.\r\n\r\nWe are already using the clapboards, SD cards, card readers, gaffers tape, and work gloves in daily production exercises. In one recent project, students filmed a one-scene narrative as part of their Quarter 3 production cycle. For many of them, it was the first time they used a real clapboard to slate a take, unlocking structure and elevated professionalism.. That simple action changed the tone of the room. They called \"Roll sound,\" \"Roll camera,\" and \"Marker.\"\r\n\r\nThe SD cards and readers allowed teams to offload footage quickly and stay organized, which is a major industry habit we are building. The gaffers tape has been used to secure cables safely and mark actor positions. The gloves have been especially helpful when moving lights, stands, and outdoor props during location shoots.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the materials, they were excited but also more focused. They recognized that someone invested in them. It shifted their mindset on our video projects from \"I have to do this class assignment\" to \"I get to lead a film production.\"\r\n\r\nOur next steps are tied to our current unit. Students are moving from filming a single scene to finalizing their Q3 films. They will use the SD cards and readers to continue capturing footage, and the clapboards to maintain clean shot logs for editing. As they approach their \"Original Cut\" deadline, they will practice professional workflows: slating correctly, backing up media, organizing files, and maintaining safe sets. These are the habits that prepare them for college programs, internships, and real film sets.\r\n\r\nYour support is not sitting on a shelf - It is in students' hands every day! It is helping them build discipline, confidence, and pride in their work.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our classroom and in our students.","fullyFundedDate":1758821090353,"projectUrl":"project/be-a-producer-of-lva-video-production/9760032/","projectTitle":"Be a Producer of LVA Video Production!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Tovar","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10280167_orig.jpg?crop=2913,2913,x80,y1018&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758776857645","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10280167"},{"teacherId":1836231,"projectId":10048228,"letterContent":"This new amplifier will have an immediate and lasting impact on our jazz students by improving sound quality during rehearsals, performances, and community events. The technology that is a part of this project ensures that the learning and practice of skills is accomplished regardless of the time and place the students are in because, in the online learning environment, it is quite easy for the students to feel isolated when learning online.\r\nWhat students are most enthusiastic about is how such technology improves online education to be more engaging as well as manageable. They value having easy-to-understand education resources, engaging tasks, as well as immediate feedback to grasp concepts readily. Rather than relying on instructors, students can refer to lessons, sample solutions, as well as check their status, which boosts student confidence.\r\nAlso, some students who have struggled to remain motivated within an online platform have greatly benefited. Students who have busy schedules or those without access to physical support within the institution now have the ability to remain on track.
