One things students lacked during virtual education was true peer interaction. One benefit that came from virtual learning is that all students now come to school with devices, namely Chromebooks. I'd like to unite technology and interaction by allowing my students to engage with each other and with art via the drawing tablets, working collaboratively to plan and deliver engaging presentations. Students will each have a white board for class activities and brainstorming, and each table group will have access to a drawing tablet, providing students with a new creative outlet and a chance to develop a new skill while working towards content mastery in speaking and listening and in writing. Standards SL.9-10.1 and W.9-10.6 are addressed consistently throughout the school year, meaning these materials will get regular use and be shared by all.
