One special moment was during our CVC word practice. Students used the dry erase pockets to build and write words like cat, dog, and pig. They were sounding out each letter, blending the sounds together, and proudly reading the words aloud. Because they could erase and try again, students felt confident taking risks and practicing independently. It was amazing to watch students.\r\n\r\nIn math, the manipulatives have made a huge difference as students count, sort, and compare numbers in hands-on ways.
