The leveled readers will serve as differentiated self selected reading. Students will be able to chose what books interests them to add to his or her book bin. When kids like what they are reading they will read more. The more he or she reads the better they will become. I will use the Lauri alphabet cards to teach the alphabet principle which will be a core center piece of our small groups. We will become masters of all the letters using research based methods from Jan Richardson's "The Next Step Forward in Guided Reading." Please support our English learning.
