My project is to help bring items to the classroom that not only are exciting but help my students learn. SLD is very hands-on so it's important that manipulatives, such as the VTech, Orboot Earth, and Alphabet items are great for their stimulations. The building items such as the building blocks, Duplo, and ABC letters are great centers that help their creativity and their education. The colored cardstock is for creating colorful decor and worksheets in the classroom. All the paint items in the cart are going towards multiple paint projects that we've always wanted to do. We needed multiple supplies such as paint, brushes, and smocks so the students are able to do this. Sight word bingo is something we've also wanted because we already have letter bingo and bingo is something the students love to do. Sight words are still bringing the bingo fun, but now we're elevating our word usage to help them with their words. We are always encouraging our students to use sight words so that they can work on sentence structure and seeing it in a fun way can make education even more great!
