We've been using Judy's clocks during our daily math rotations, where students work in small groups to practice telling time and solving real-life scheduling problems. One memorable moment was when a group of students created their own \"school day timeline,\" setting their clocks to match each activity and explaining their thinking to the class. The magnetic building blocks have become a favorite during STEM time—students collaborated to design and build mini \"cities,\" applying problem-solving and teamwork skills while exploring balance and structure. Meanwhile, our new chapter books are being used during guided reading, where students are diving deeper into comprehension, making predictions, and discussing characters with growing confidence.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious—there were gasps, big smiles, and so many eager hands ready to explore. The clocks sparked curiosity right away, with students turning the hands and asking questions, while the magnetic blocks led to instant creativity and collaboration. The chapter books made many students feel proud and motivated to read \"big kid books.\" Moving forward, students will continue building on these experiences by creating more complex STEM designs, writing reflections about their reading, and applying their time-telling skills to real-world scenarios like planning events. These resources are not just tools—they are opening doors to deeper engagement and learning every day.","fullyFundedDate":1769719566869,"projectUrl":"project/interactive-classroom/9995566/","projectTitle":"Interactive Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gomez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8443992_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1769292423020","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8443992"},{"teacherId":9291090,"projectId":9998864,"letterContent":"Thank you for thoughtful and impactful donation of classroom supplies.Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in our learning environment and we truly are grateful for your support.Because of those materials that were donated they have the essential materials to enhance their creativity and learning. These resources help foster creativity, participation and confidence in our class. Our student council already produces a wonderful school podcast, and we now dream of taking it to the next level by transforming a dedicated room in the library into a professional podcast studio. This new space will allow multiple groups of students — from student council to classrooms, clubs, and special interest groups — to record and film high-quality podcasts that showcase their voices, ideas, and learning.\r\nThe library podcast studio is still in the planning and measuring phase as we determine the best layout for acoustics, lighting, and equipment placement. We are actively seeking generous sponsors and community partners to help us build out this creative learning space. In the meantime, we have already acquired the necessary equipment and have been practicing in our classroom. Students are busy learning audio and video editing programs, microphone techniques, scripting, and all the skills needed to produce fully polished podcasts with video.\r\nWe can't wait to share the finished studio with you once it is complete. This project represents so much more than just a recording room — it is an opportunity for our students to develop 21st-century communication skills, build confidence, and share their stories with the school community and beyond. Please stay tuned for updates on our final project, and feel free to reach out if you or someone you know might be interested in supporting this exciting initiative.","fullyFundedDate":1768770396677,"projectUrl":"project/introduction-of-podcasting-and-audio-edi/10039705/","projectTitle":"Introduction of Podcasting and Audio Editing","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Weatherholt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4550074_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1634093782758","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4550074"},{"teacherId":7451614,"projectId":10045302,"letterContent":"Thank you again for your kind donations to our pre-k class. Seeing their writing published for others to read gives students a strong sense of pride and motivates them to do their best.\r\n\r\nMy students are especially excited because writing now feels creative and meaningful rather than stressful.
