This will help my students better focus with less distractions from their environment. A loud environment causes distractions on important assessments that help provide data that helps me better help each individual student. It is important to know exactly what areas to help my students in and headphones will help my students better focus on that task at hand rather than other noises they may hear from students sounding words out to themselves. We have many students still implementing sounds to help them in their reading and it can get loud if the whole class is doing so.
