They couldn't wait to open the acrylic paint pens and begin choosing rocks to transform into little pieces of art filled with positive messages. Their faces lit up as they tested the pens and realized how easy it was to draw colorful patterns and write words of encouragement like \"You matter,\" \"Be kind,\" and \"You've got this!\"\r\n\r\nDuring our Kindness Rocks art sessions, students worked thoughtfully and shared ideas about how to make their rocks uplifting for others. It was wonderful to watch them support one another, discuss the meaning of their messages, and take pride in their creations. The acrylic pens made the process neat, stress-free, and fun, helping everyone focus on creativity and kindness instead of mess or cleanup.\r\n\r\nNow, our next step is to spread kindness beyond our classroom. Students will place their finished rocks around the school garden and local community spots for others to find. This project has taught them that even small acts—like painting a rock—can make a big difference. Thanks to your generosity, my students learned that art is not only about color and design, but also about heart and connection. Your support truly helped kindness grow in our classroom and beyond!","fullyFundedDate":1761598228009,"projectUrl":"project/kindness-rocks-spreading-positivity-thr/9843390/","projectTitle":"Kindness Rocks: Spreading Positivity Through Art","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cancino","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9351508_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1699990547564","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9351508"},{"teacherId":6377190,"projectId":8221423,"letterContent":"When our house system received the new sashes and button maker, students immediately embraced them as a way to show pride and unity within their houses. They were eager to try on the sashes. Students continue to work hard to reach their goals to be able to enjoy these items.\r\nThese resources have not only enhanced school spirit but have also provided students with tangible ways to demonstrate their sense of belonging and achievement. Moving forward, we will continue to use the sashes and buttons as part of monthly assemblies and house challenges, allowing students to earn recognition and celebrate accomplishments.
