Our school has wonderful online resources such as MyOn, Epic, and E-Spark. We also use MAPs fluency to check student progress, which requires headphones and a microphone. In order for students to use any of these sites, they need headphones to hear. I We love our online books (especially since we cannot be sharing books due to the pandemic) and students love exploring MyOn and Epic for new books to take tests on everyday. A lot of the books read to the kiddos which is extremely helpful for my ELL students, so having headphones would make things in class a lot easier because we cannot play all of the stories out loud without noise problems. Our school does not have enough headphones for every student and they do not have headphones of their own to bring from home. We desperately need headphones and I already know every student will be so excited to have brand new ones and will take care of them!
