The much-needed dry erase markers have made our UFLI work even more engaging and give kids another way to show their thinking in math.\r\n\r\n• Chart paper\r\nPerfect for whole-class brainstorming and anchor charts! Students recently used it to create maps of U.S. states.\r\n\r\n• The laminator and card stock\r\nThese have helped us create sturdy math games, vocabulary cards, and social studies resources that will last this year and hopefully beyond. Our vocabulary wall has never looked better!\r\n\r\n• Red reading folders\r\nThese have helped students keep their materials organized and responsible for their work. We've already completed an entire ELA unit using our red folders to hold student writing, brainstorming, and original poetry.\r\n\r\n• Sensory toys & chair bands\r\nHuge favorites! The sensory toys help students stay focused and have calm bodies, and the chair bands are wonderful for giving fidgety learners a way to move their bodies without distracting others.\r\n\r\n• Snacks, tissues, Clorox wipes, disinfecting wipes, and Band-Aids\r\nThese essentials keep us comfortable, clean, and cared for. They make such a big difference everyday in helping kids feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\n• And especially the water bottles\r\nStudents use them all day long.
