Writing is a skill that we are constantly trying to improve. Our students love being engaged during computer time, which they only get for an hour a week during specials. These laptops will be used for a digital writing center right here in our classroom so that students can effectively utilize 21st century technology. We extensively use Google classroom, a digital learning platform, for independent and small group projects. These would benefit students greatly by helping them conduct research and create unique and special representations of their knowledge. I know that their writing will improve with these in the classroom.
