The iPad and electronic toys have changed how I deliver therapy by creating engaging, motivating contexts where students practice communication skills in meaningful ways. These tools have increased student communication attempts that directly translate to measurable progress.\r\nWhat makes this investment particularly powerful is how it meets students where they are developmentally and motivationally. Electronic toys capture student attention and create natural opportunities for speech and language practice, while the iPad serves as both a speech-generating device and therapy materials. Together, they create a system that transforms therapy from a traditional activity into an interactive, student-centered experience.\r\nI am deeply grateful for this opportunity and remain committed to using these resources to maximize therapeutic outcomes for every student in my program.","fullyFundedDate":1788631542547,"projectUrl":"project/a-technology-driven-approach-to-speech-l/10575412/","projectTitle":"A Technology-Driven Approach To Speech-Language Therapy","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Morgan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7889676"},{"teacherId":9484994,"projectId":10090078,"letterContent":"I can't say thank you enough to all those who donated to my new project. Students learn to skip, jump rope, or dribble a basketball to a beat, which improves coordination and motor planning in ways that counting out loud never could. We also use call-and-response songs to help English learners and shy students follow along without feeling singled out. During circuit training, we change songs to signal station rotations, so students transition smoothly on their own instead of waiting for a whistle.
