Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many kids in our community were not able to participate in vigorous physical activity for periods of time. At our school, students are always encouraged to demonstrate healthy activity patterns by participating in physical activity. These new ball carts and playground balls will give the students the ability to play a variety of games on the playground and during their P.E. classes. Currently, each of our classes has a designated playground area for recess, as we continue to manage our way through Covid-19 protocols. With additional playground balls, each class would be able to have more than one ball in their area to play with at a time, which would be amazing for our students.

About my class
