The snacks became a positive reinforcement for finishing strong and giving their best effort.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the snacks, they were genuinely excited and grateful. Many of them expressed how helpful it was to have something small to refuel, especially during demanding academic tasks. More importantly, the snacks created a sense of encouragement and care—students felt seen, supported, and motivated to rise to expectations. The girls wore the gloves you helped us get every day in practice and during games. This helped them focus on catching the ball with the right technique, confidence, and consistency. Late in the season, a few players made critical catches in high-pressure situations with games on the line. They all said that the gloves helped them be more confident with catching the ball and keeping their hands warm in the last few games of the season when it was cold.\r\n\r\nThe girls were really excited when they first got the gloves. They were so happy and it instantly made them feel better and more motivated. The gloves gave our athletes more confidence, and showed them that their hard work was being backed by a community that believes in them.\r\n\r\nThis season will go down in history. Our team made it to the Elite 8 round of the state playoffs. We were 19-4 this season which was the most wins in school history. We also celebrated two young ladies who decided to play flag football in college. In the future, we will keep building on our success by improving our offensive skills, making practice more competitive, and getting our returning players ready to take on leadership responsibilities. These gloves will still be very important as we work on our ball-handling skills, confidence, and performance at a championship level. When the the finished cart was rolled into the clinic, our nurse was moved to tears.
