My students are currently in grades 10th - 12th. I teach Chemistry and IB Chemistry. I teach in an urban environment where the students often lack resources to perform well in school. My classroom is student centered and the students are very eager to demonstrate what they have learned in creative ways. They learn best by doing so I try to incorporate hands on experiences as often as possible because it teaches them to think and solve problems. My students are creative and very talented. They are currently unable to effectively apply the standards we have covered due to our lack of resources. We are in need of a colored printer, a supply of ink, a Cricut Explore Air 2 and crafting supplies that we can use to bring our science learning to life.
