We are currently in testing season, so the whiteboards have gotten a lot of good use whether it be through practice or competition games. The students even complimented on the newness of the boards compared to the 10 year old ones I had previously. They also enjoyed having their own erasers and new markers were highly needed. Plenty of studies show that using whiteboards increase student participation because they have the ability to erase and fix their mistakes quickly. I can attest to this. \r\n\r\nAs for the other teacher supplies, they have been useful in my creativity and ability to teach more efficiently. The pack of styluses are a great asset in that they allow me to write more clearly on the PowerPoint when teaching. Sticky notes are a must in tool box; I use them daily and the markers are used to create anchor charts. We have not had a chance to bring out the card games as those are being used as an incentive after testing. \r\n\r\nAgain, your generosity is very much appreciated. It is people like you that remind us educators that we are supported and valued.","fullyFundedDate":1733195403305,"projectUrl":"project/collaborative-learning-with-whiteboards/8685322/","projectTitle":"Collaborative Learning With Whiteboards","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Meriwether","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6959965"},{"teacherId":7942961,"projectId":8536973,"letterContent":"I am truly grateful for all of your donations. The purpose of these activities is to encourage positive interactions, which have greatly helped students improve their social skills. The board games, in particular, have created opportunities for students to practice these skills while also learning the value of money.\r\n\r\nAs a life skills teacher, my focus is on helping students become as independent as possible. I design activities that involve pretend money and simulate real-life scenarios where they need to use money appropriately. As the school year has progressed, I have observed significant progress in students who were previously struggling. \r\n\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your generosity and support.
