The materials I asked for will help my students grow in their reading skills. I asked for zipper pouches, highlighters, and wooden pencils to create annotation kits for my students to use these different tools to create an engaging activity to help them learn different skills to become better readers. I also asked for headphones to help students listen to different texts on their iPad. As listening to the text helps my ESL students understand and practice their emerging English learning. When my students can hear the text they are more confident in understanding the text and will participate more often in class discussions. All these items will help encourage my students to be better readers.
