Dear Martin is a book that will capture my students' attention. Last year, we were only able to read the excerpt online and it broke my heart that we could not dive deeper into this great read. I would love to connect this book to current events and have some deep and meaningful conversations while encouraging independent thinking. The other supplies will add some spark to our room. My students might be teens, but they light up when given a sticker or pencil. I want to give them a classroom that feels like home and not like a dungeon. I love when my students feel like wow this is their classroom! We would truly appreciate any and all help. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and we cannot wait to dive in to these materials. Our school might not be rich , but our love for knowledge is priceless!
