The students are always so excited to get anything new to enhance their learning. The tablets are easy to store and get out when we need them. \r\n\r\nThe tablets enable us to save on paper but still record answers. Oftentimes, the gifted students are eager to say their answer aloud which takes away the \"think time\" that other children need. By writing on their answers on the tablet, the students refrain from blurting out the answer but still get to show that they know the answer.\r\n\r\nPlus, the tablets are just plain fun to use! We can use them when doing a Breakout EDU activity together to write down the lock combination to try. The tablets really work well for all curriculum areas and are very versatile. I've placed some of the books and materials in the Safe Place of my classroom. But I also use these materials to teach my small groups.\r\n\r\nMy students were very excited to see the new materials, especially the feeling puppets. This really let's them act out their feelings in a constructive way before the emotion hits them. We've noticed continual improvement in students emotional well being having used these puppets in small group. \r\n\r\nIn my special education resource room, I will continually monitor my students to chart their progress in not only my small groups but also in their general education classroom. These materials have made and are currently making a difference for my student.
