I have requested items for the classroom that will keep children interested in learning by using their hands and brains while we step away from paper, pencil, and devices. The moveable seating will allow us to hold class outdoors when weather permits or within the class when students want alternate seating. Being able to problem solve and communicate with classmates in a cooperative, play environment will help students with thinking skills as we dive into formal lessons. The hands-on math and science manipulatives I've requested are a fun way to start our day as children have a 30 minute wait time before and after school!
