My students need headphones and splitters to maximize the use of our shared classroom iPads. We currently have 1 iPad for every two students in my classroom. We frequently use our iPads throughout the day, but have to be creative in how we share them. While using the iPads students are accustomed to taking turns with their classmates, however there are many learning opportunities for students while sharing an iPad. With a splitter and headphones, multiple students can utilize the iPad at the same time. Creating digital resources, presentations, and projects together with other students will make classroom activities resemble the real world. By providing these essential items my students will be able to work effectively with technology while gaining the necessary skills for living and working in the 21st century.
