I teach over 100 students in a gifted/talented classroom in a suburb of Oklahoma. The kids are in grades first through fifth. The children come to me for half a day once a week. They get to extend their learning and reach higher levels of thinking in a small group setting with their peers. Every year they complete a big research project. They also have an opportunity to learn how to integrate a variety of technology programs into their work. Since I only see the students once a week, it is often hard to schedule a computer lab time. These kids are curious and motivated to dig deeper into subject areas and learn more about a topic.

About my class
