This was their absolute favorite art project! \r\nStudents enjoyed learning about Acoma pottery, the famed Lucy Lewis and creating their own pots in the style of the Acoma culture. It connected what they were learning in their classrooms about Native Americans and gave them better understanding of why pottery was an important part of their life and heritage.
