These wobble chairs will allow my students to move around during instruction without distracting others. These chairs will help improve my student attention because they are able to get out their "wiggles" without getting up and down instead. Students feel empowered by having some degree of choice and control over their environment. Flexible seating allows students to choose where they work and with whom. It also allows them to change their location and positions as needed. These chairs will be utilized during reading time, at the center time and during whole group instruction. Students will be able to move them where they feel they can best learn and will be given choice to when they sit on them. By allowing choice, where they sit, and when they can use them their learning experience will be increased and they will be able to focus on instruction.
