Last year students were unable to produce the school wide news network due to COVID. This year we are back on track but need some resources, such as the iPad. The iPad provides students opportunities to become reporters to report news stories regarding our learning community spotlighting student work, classroom highlights, and teachers. They are learning how to produce and direct our news program seen on our school's news network to nearly 700 students, using iMovie. With the iPad students can interact with our interactive whiteboard providing for empowering and engaging student discourse. This year we are back in the classroom and students are hungry for interaction. The iPad will allow us to use the app Splash Top and many others to support student growth. This unique opportunity will build student's confidence and support their SEL growth. Standards: SL 3.5; SL 4.1b-d; SL 4.1a-d
