Students are eager to get an opportunity to use them and be a bit more comfortable while learning. \r\n Some of the feedback from students has been about comfort, feelings, and focus. One student said, \"Having multiple seating options can be really important for learning because some people need something that would keep them moving.\" Another student said, \"It helps me relax and helps me not get distracted.\" Some other comments were, \"They help me get my wiggles out.\" \"The wobble stools help my by letting me move while working.\" \"I get distracted easily so bouncing helps me.\" \"They let me use my energy while working.\" and \"I like to fidget and I have ADHD so it really helps.\" \r\n It was also pointed out that the rubber on the FLEX seating is more comfortable than the plastic chairs. The feet on the yoga balls prevent rolling and increase safety with use. Even students who do not require the seating for sensory needs are benefitting from the choice and fun provided by FLEX seating.\r\n This donation has made a huge impact on my class and student learning. It's also simply fun to give students a choice and watch them wiggle around. \r\nThank you so much for giving us this opportunity and gift!","fullyFundedDate":1755730772390,"projectUrl":"project/learning-is-a-flex/9609438/","projectTitle":"Learning is a FLEX!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Wilhelm","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8457613"},{"teacherId":9183454,"projectId":9609636,"letterContent":"My students are over the moon with the additions of flexible seating options to our classroom. We now have enough for every student in the class to opt out of using an uncomfortable and poor-fitting plastic chair for our instructional day ... every day! \r\n Some of the feedback they have given is that the seating options \"let me move in my seat ... and get my body moving.\" This helps make being in the classroom more fun and enjoyable for them. Others have said that the movement (on the wobble stools and yoga balls) allows them to bounce, fidget, and expell their extra energy, helping them focus on what their learning, and some have even said it helps keep them from turning that extra attention to distractions like talking with their friends. They say that the wiggle cushions help them customize the standard furniture, making their seats more supportive. They like the variety of options to choose from - though everyone seems to have a favorite. Finally, these new seating options help them stretch, build core muscles, ease their growing pre-teen bodies, and improve their posture.\r\n Thank you so much for helping support our efforts to meet kids where they are, provide options to help them be more comfortable, and make our classroom a fun place to be - all so that we can help improve their learning and engagement!","fullyFundedDate":1755707334025,"projectUrl":"project/flexible-seating-for-6th-graders/9609636/","projectTitle":"Flexible Seating for 6th Graders","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Mesina","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9183454"},{"teacherId":8841325,"projectId":7198333,"letterContent":"Students were eager to receive a mouse for their computer, and they were able to better navigate their computer with the mice over touchpads.
