Students learn about cells and microorganisms. I'd like them to have the experience of seeing just how quickly and far bacteria can spread. Hands on learning can improve their understanding and experience to help them grow a greater love for science and school. I can still remember when I had the opportunity to grow organisms on petri dishes and how fun it was. Students will have the chance to see the world around them in a different light. I want them to see what the bacteria is like from the water faucet, hand rail, bathroom, and I'd love to see them see just what their cell phone holds. I'd like them to use their brains to come up with a new project using the incubator that I never would have imagined.
