As the boxes arrived at different times, it caused excitement for a week or two every time we got a delivery. They were always thrilled to watch me open the boxes and discover what new additions were made to our classroom.\r\nThe students have found so much enjoyment with using the new center toys. One of the centers directly impacted by this project was our block center. Before we had normal sized and small sized wooden blocks. The students would choose to go there and build but would lose interest quickly. \r\nNow after having our project funded, we have a variety of blocks, such as wooden blocks, cardboard \"brick\" blocks, giant soft calming blocks, jelly blocks, and magnetic blocks. These blocks arrived just as we were finishing a unit on construction. The children were using their newly learned vocabulary while enjoying building with the new blocks. They were creating foundations, walls, windows, and more. Now, they will attend and build giant structures together. It has enhanced our construction unit, promoted team work, problem solving skills, and has them paying more attention to tasks.\r\nThe students were directly impacted by other materials we received even if they may not have enjoyed them as much as the new toys! The pencils, writing paper, class set of drawing tablets, and dry erase markers all have helped the students develop fine motor skills while practicing their writing skills. The playdough and sidewalk chalk are also great items that have helped strengthen their fine motor skills. Almost the whole class is now writing their own names!\r\nThe remaining items have also impacted our classroom in a positive way. The adult chair jhas been a great addition for the classroom paraprofessional. She did not even have an adult sized chair before which had been an issue as she has preexisting back problems. This has given her a place to take a moment to clear her head and a place to help prepare lessons/items for the students without harming her back further. The magnetic tape has come in handy to create games/activities that are hands on. The step stools have allowed students to access the sink and smartboard safely.\r\nI am so incredibly grateful for all the support with this project! It really has helped the staff with being more prepared and present. It has helped the students work together as a team, solve problems, solidify curriculum concepts, strengthen and develop their fine motor skills, and aid them in learning to write their own names. One of my favorite moments will be watching students who usually struggle to stay engaged become completely absorbed in carefully placing each tiny gem. They'll proudly shared their finished designs with classmates, boosting confidence and creating opportunities for positive peer interaction. The materials won't just bring fun—they'll help build perseverance, patience, and a sense of accomplishment.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students are heading into our next lessons feeling motivated and valued. However, some arrive hungry, distracted, or with limited resources at home. Your kindness has helped remove those barriers and has made our classroom a more equitable, supportive learning environment for every child.\r\n\r\nThe headphones have had an immediate and powerful impact.
