Donating to this project will help my students keep up with the 21st century and provide them access to the benefits of learning and applying knowledge through technology. The use of the Apple TV will afford them the opportunity to share their work, use it as an interactive whiteboard, and allow me (the teacher) to freely roam about the room while still being connected. For instance, students could create an interactive story with the use of a QR code that enables them to use animation and audio voice recordings. Instead of students looking at each other's stories on each individual iPad, the class could view stories as a whole group as it is projected onto the SMARTboard screen. Additionally, there are a variety of interactive activities that allow students to participate from their own seats through the use of Apple TV.
